Donations

Donations can be made in a variety of ways including:

  • Annual Giving- a fund of contributions from ind ividual donors who support the mission of Boys & Girls Clubs.
  • Capital Campaign- funding that will go directly toward building our new Cawood Ledford facility in Harlan.
  • Bequests- remember Boys & Girls Clubs in your will and estate plans.
  • Planned Gifts of Securities or Property that can be designated for annual program operations or restricted to the Endowment Fund.
  • In-Kind Gifts of goods or services to direct service or administrative needs.
  • Fund Raisers such as our Annual Community Dinner and Reverse Raffle.

Volunteer
The Club provides many opportunities for individuals to volunteer their time and talents. We are always searching for people that can help us sustain and expand our work in youth development.

Three primary areas that we are always in need of assistance include fundraising, administrative tasks, and program assistance.

Administrative assistance is needed on a daily basis and may entail answering phones, filing, computer database inputting, and receptionist duties to name a few. Program assistance is also needed on a daily basis and includes tutoring and homework assistance, supervising the gamesroom and gym areas, and coaching or refereeing games for one of our many sports leagues.

For more information on volunteering contact Kateena Haynes, Executive Director, at 606-573-0960.
